I have a throttle problem also but every time i step on the throttle the car doesnt take off right away. There is a 3 second pause before it picks up speed. This is in every gear and it happens once in a blue moon. weird.

 

FYI, I had this problem resurface last Thursday.

I drove from Riverside to San Diego, mostly cruising. For those who don't know, this is about a 100 mile drive, at least to where I was going. Anyway, I made a stop after the highway ended, and when I shifted to 1st gear after the green light, I experienced the issue again. After about 9 blocks, I pulled over, turned off the engine, waited about 3 minutes, and started it up again. The issue went away.

I haven't experienced it again since, but I do know that the ECU reset didn't last very long. It did however help the issue since it used to occur more often, but that seems to no longer be the case. If this happens again, I plan on taking it to the dealer so they can have a tech drive the car and see it for himself (or herself, but I haven't seen any chick mechanics in Riverside )
