Which way should i go either it be a SC or Turn key GTM stage 1 TT? I will need the valve body upgrades also sense i am an 5 automatic. This is my daily driver and I would say I drive pretty light footed now. But i will get on her every once in awhile. whenever a neon of honda pulls next to me anyway.
What you guys think?

 

If it were my 10K, I'd go GTM TT.

Bring it to Houston for the install. So the mechanic there will have experience whenever I get around to doing mine.

 

Either direction you take, you will still need additional parts if you want a "complete" set-up.

TT Kit: Still need downpipes, exhaust, clutch (depending on your power level), gauges

SC Kit: Not sure yet as the GTM kit info. hasn't been released.

i have the mxp so far and I think i want to stick with the cobb tunning. the gauges ill include at the install i guess. every installer has the guages they like to use i would think. thanks for the info

 

also for downpipes not sure which way to go. Clutch should not matter cause im auto correct. just a tranny cooler and valve body upgrade

 

Yea, sorry I mis-read that you were auto.

 

Don't forget oil cooler.

 

Unless you have more than 10k, I would not go either. When you go FI, you better have a "oh ****" fund, because things WILL happen.

SC for a DD. You have a little less to worry about as far as maint.

 

why is that bad? i like the price and looks of it.

 

I would invest your 10k until it's 20k then go for one or the other.. Like "MIKE" said.. There are ALWAYS maint. costs as well as when things go wrong.. Plus i think either one would cost a little more than 10k to have a thorough job completed..

Buy a watch..

SC is probably more reliable, but TT will have more power.
