I remember you talked about it on driver and now i cant seem to find your thread.

Thanks.
The standard wastegate opening was too small. GTM said they changed the turbine housing.

You said something about installing an engine mount spacer, what was that for and where did it go?

The engine mount spacer goes under the engine mount. It's about an 1 inch spacer that elevates the motor slightly so that the turbo housing won't bump anything below it. I can post some pictures of it after work.

I'm not sure about that. Maybe Sam can chime in. Since people are already having problems with the clearance on regular G37s, I think there would be an issue with the elevated engine with the spacer.

Good job on the DIY. Might take this endeavor on in the near future, but have a couple of questions.

Wanted to know if you think it would just be easier to pull the engine. Use to pull the engine on my 300ZX TT in like 3 hours in my garage with the tranny dropped. Unfortunately that car had no room and required a pull if you wanted to do anything like you are doing. At least I learned to pull it in my sleep! lol

Also, is your car an auto? DO you know if the auto's have been able to keep up or are they getting ripped?

Good job and keep up the good work.

Am I the only one having problems viewing some of the photos? Some of the pictures aren't showin up. Not sure if it's my iPhone or not. But it's wierd one pic works, then the next doesn't, then the next does.

Yeah it's crazy. I do the majority of my surfing from my iPhone and that never happened before.

I think things would've been a lot easier if the engine was pulled. Props to you if you can manage to do that easily. A problem you might run into is that the A/C lines are integrated into the radiator. When you take out the radiator, you'll have to evacuate the A/C lines. This was not worth the headache and trouble for me.

I have a 6mt. There have been many TTed autos by GTM. You can search for them and see the great success they've had.

Thanks, the car is more or less finished. I'm waiting for Sam to send me the tune so I can flash the ECU. I just need to run some wires for the sensors. I'll try to post a video of the first start up.
