correction car would not gointo ds modeHas anyone ever had this happen.when I put shifter to left it would not go into ds mode or be able to shift manually except for paddles.once I turned the car off then back on,it was fine.I thought my trans was damaged.

 

yeah i was trying to figure that out also. before doing your second pulls it would not go into Ds mode, so I shut her off, then on and everything worked again.. that was odd.

 

I had the same problem. Then the problem continued to progress and it wouldn't let me downshift only upshift. Then it continued to go bad where it will only read "D" even though it was pushed to the left in DS mode. So I got fed up with it and took it to the dealer and the solution ended up to be to replace the whole shifter! Now my G is running healthy and better than ever! So I suggest that you guys take it to your dealer to get it checked out before the problem progresses!
