Help Dark engine oil after a few months, Normal?

Not much of a difference as before, with the lighting and all. Nothing serious i assume then?

looks fine to me....oil gets darker everytime u start the engine...mine looks like that after 5 month.

Also using synthetic oil somehow gets darker quickly since it helps clean the engine more.

1st, I would hardly call that oil 'dark'.

2nd, it is entirely normal and expected for oil to discolor with age.

3rd, oil color tells you nothing about the condition of the oil or the engine.

4th, Mobil 1 is good for a minimum of 7500 miles.

Last, stop looking at your dipstick and worrying.
