To the OP:
The axle click is a very faint metallic ping that occurs whenever you accelerate from a stop to low speed, forward or backward. Search for axle click or axle ping or something of that sort if you want more info. It's been discussed numerous times on the forum in the past. Like someone said, dealerships should be well-aware of this problem and should take care of it with no problem. Just some axle grease and stuff.

Hey man thanks for the advice....look a few posts back...it was fixed under a TSB that already exist for the G37 regarding axle clicking. No problem this far!

anyone have the TSB # for this? searched and can't find it. or I'm blind . or exactly what I should tell the dealer - axle chirp, axle ping, etc.

my G is a month old and I just noticed the chirp when I leave home in the morning or leave work at night. thought it was the tires! only in 1st gear as I 'slowly' drive off (yeah, right!)
