My G Got Operated On (success)

Ok everyone here's the 411 on My G ,,,,Car is 5 months old with 3346 miles on it. I know some of the members here have been talking about the throw out bearing noise in our G's, so I decided too take it to the dealer to see what's up because I was having the same noise,,,, Car was at the dealer from Wednesday morning until Friday afternoon. Here's what they found when they operated on my baby ,,, we a bad throw out bearing that scored the fingers on the pressure plate ,,,, so instead of it just being the bearing ,,,they had to replace
1-Throw out bearing
2-Pressure Plate
3-Clutch Plate
4-Replace the gear oil inside the trany
5-Did something with the Slave Cylinder really didn't understand what they meant
6-Free oil change and I'm good to go...
It has a whole different feel coming out of the hole

I'm real happy ,, The Operation was a success
So if any of you are having the same noise, I would bring it to the dealer.

I took a pic of the work order on what they did. It might be a little hard to read because I couldn't get a good pic. But here goes:

Thanks for the info. Did you notice your car not running normal before you took it in or was it just because of that noise it makes at idle?

Thinking about getting the dealership to take a look at it when i bring my car in for regular maintenance at the end of the month. Hopefully they don't tell me that "it's normal".

Anyone else on here take it back to Infiniti? If so, what'd they say?

They told me the sound was normal, but I'm going to push the subject even further. I don't care what kind of car you have, the bearing is not suppose to be that loud. Also my heated seat on the passenger side doesn't work, and my muffler is rattling which is going to be replaced Tuesday.

I'm a little upset, I just bought this car to find these kinds of issues with it. Of course since it was the end of the month I was pushed too.

I was thinking of how I should approach it, if they don't seem to want to believe it's not normal then I may say, "Give me a key to a brand new G37S, if it makes that noise then I'm fine, if it doesn't make that noise then I want it looked at."

Actually no I didn't feel any difference with my car, never drove another G besides the test drive so I really didn't feel a difference.

When I brought my car in all I did was tell them about the noise from the throw out bearing and they took it from there. Didn't say anything further. Until they called me and told me what they found.

This is interesting. My car sounds different with the clutch in than out and I believe there was a thread and almost everyone had that same thing.

I heard the noise in mine before the thread started but just thought that it was normal being the 6MT, then the thread started up about it and I was like hmm. So I just left it until the noise starting getting worse. I was due for my first oil change, when I brought it in for the oil change told them about the throw out bearing making noise also. That was it, and like I said before, they took it from there.
