if you are talkin about a stock 335
i don't think there are any chip or reflashes that make 550whp on a 335i...

but again a good mild turbo kit with a good tune will run to about $6-7K...the 335i only needs a goor $1.5K to be fast.

its going to be expensive BUT if they can keep it at 5k-8k (difference in price to the 335i) then i'll be happy

i think the kit itself would run about 4.5-5.5K...then you have install for about 1K...then you have the tune for about 1K

hopefully they have a standard kit like vortech where they have an ecu pre-tuned (run on the rich side to be safe) for guys who just want an improvement over stock (maybe run 370whp)...then a tuner kit where you need bigger injectors, dyno time and tuning, etc. (capable of upwards of 500whp)

that would please the masses...

i'm sure GTM should have some preliminary number to give us a ballpark as of aprox how much it will be. give or take $1k.

Im estimating this kit to run roughly 7K.

After install, tuning, gauges, youre looking at roughly 10K.

i think anyone making FI kits for the G will make the pricing competetive...there are complete FI kits for the Z/G that are running between 4K-6K...anything higher than 8K would be absurd.

i'd be happy with a reliable 400-475whp....wouldn't mind paying up to 10k for that

but gtm has the only fi system out for the g, so i think their going to cost more. the z/g has a lot of systems out already, so they must lower the price for people to be able to want to buy them. if its around 5k, then heck yea, i will postponed the wheels and go fi. but doubt my parents would let.

yea +1 it is expensive but its a really nice kit and they are not cutting corners. I cant wait to see what the stroker kit with the 35R turbos will do... might have to go all out... lol
