AM thinking of getting a G37 but still tossing the coin between AT and 6spd versions.

just out of interest, anywhoe who has compred their AT G37 to the bmw 3 series steptronics, how does it compare? ive always been quite partial to the BMW autos, they shift nicely and quite fast.

if the G37s is in that ballpark that would be another point to consider in the AT favour.

 

I've recently driven both and have owned a BMW 3er and Infiniti M. The AT on the BMW is much more superior, imho.

I agree, BMW tranny is much better...Theyre typically better geared as well.

 

BMW tranny>G37... Not with my experience but my wifes. I'm out of the country currently.

 

I believe BMW tranny design is superior since they get pretty good 0~60 time with less HP&TQ and more gas efficient too. The only think that I'm complaining about G37 AT is that it has only 5-speed and gear ratio is little too wide.
