Exclamation Clutch problems???

Is anyone out there experiencing any problems with the clutch? I just picked my IP G37S last Tuesday and tonight I noticed that the clutch creaks when engaging a gear (mostly 1st and reverse). It occurs when I have to engage the clutch when backing into a stall or my garage or when I put it in 1st but have to maintain a slower speed (you know when you're in rush hour bumper to bumper traffic). It also smelled like something was burning, i hope it's not the clutch (I don't ride my clutch).

Hope this makes sense to you guys, just want to know if anyone has experienced soemthing similar and if so, what was the problem? Did you have to take it back to the stealership?

thanks in advance.

Odd i dont have any noises coming from my clutch. But you should not be smelling burning clutch. If you smell something odd burning its usually one of two things, you over heated the brakes and you get that burnt glazzing smell, the other is the clutch being burned up...

My car stunk like crazy for a few days while all the manufacturing jizz burned off, but that is typical and to be expected. Hopefully, that is the source of your smell. The clutch noise...better get that checked right away. Drive it back asap. Good luck!!

I found a solution to the clutch problem I've been having
I couldn't wait to bring it in to the delaership so I decided to just see if I could figure out what was wrong. I just used some WD40 to lube up the components of the clutch inside the car and voila, creaking sound was gone!

Hope this helps anyoine else that might encounter the same problem.

BTW, I absolutely L-O-V-E this car!!

Alls I did was go under the footwell where the pedals are, depressed the clutch with my hand just so I could see which parts moved and lubed those up, pretty simple.

maybe lithium grease instead of wd40 might work better?!?? wd40 can attract a lot of dust and build grime..

oh ur talkin about a creak from the clutch PEDAL itself? Phew. I thought u were talkin about clutch components/parts from under the hood, something internal....
