ECU Reset Problem!!!

When trying to reset my ecu a weird malfucntion happened...

I followed the guilines to reseting th ECU. Disconnect the battery for 8 hrs. After connecting the battery, when i opened the door, my window rolled halfway down, i open it again after closing it, it went all the way down. I hav to turn the ignition to ON to roll the window up. I alson noticed that the automatic window rolling up was a problem. It did not work. Ne1 hav or had this problem. Need to take it in b/c can't drive it with the window down...

Thank you. This worked. You helped me out by saving me a trip to the dealers. Thanx again. But why did this happened. Is it gonna happen every time I disonnect the battery?

if you perform the ECU reset procedure outlined in the service manual (among other places) there is no need to disconnect battery power, thus this will not happen. look into it, as it accomplishes the exact same thing in a fraction of the time.
