is there a way to tweak the odometer to show mileage you want?

 

The simple answer is NO. The more correct answer is yes you can if you are very technically and mechanically savvy, but if you do so it is illegal to sell the car unless you provide the true mileage of the car (which you won't know). It's not something that you'd want to do.

 

thing is I leased the S*it outta my car and in like a wk I put on 500 mi...and I dont give *** that its illegal but i heard u can un-plug ur intro-cluster and it will do it...is there any easier way?!?!?

You're asking people on here to help you perform an illegal action... I dont think you're going to be welcomed that much nor get a lot of responses on "helping" you out

 

Not that I would help either, but the milage is stored in the ECU and is only displayed in the cluster.

 

I wish you hadn't revealed that and let him go to the trouble of taking his entire dash apart for nothing. It would have been poetic justice.

 

Let's not pursue this illegal activity.....It's not the wisest thing to do...
