CAUGHT ME GAPPIN
My buddy is getting the UPREV tune on his G35 this month (March 2020)His shoots flame has a single exhaust, Fuel Inectors, Plenum, and Muffler Delete.
Im told because my7 car is the AWD model of the G37 im limited on mods i can do prior to tuning in April. I currently have INTAKE/EXHAUST K&N Drop ins, GTR Injectors,KInitex HFC, and a Beluga Axle Back exhaust that sounds amazing!
The problem?Sure shes running lean/rich and a proper tune would be the fix. Am I right? Do I need mroe mods? What mods can i do on a budget for the AWD? I heard the Headers are not possible and Im not trying to race as its a daily.
Some say dont have enough mods while they are constanly pulled over for shooting flame maps. Open to suggestions. April UPREV coming soon as ive never tuned. THANKS!

 

AWD does propose some limitations but you still have options. PPE Headers fit. I think some others do as well. If you're on IG, follow mattlorentzo. He has an AWD G37 Sedan with a ton of mods including headers. Just spoke with him today actually.

Do you need more mods? That's all up to you brotha and what your goals are with the car.

You could possibly upgrade the fuel pump if you plan to go E85 and since you already have the GTR injectors.
