You already got the solid transmission mount (no bushing)? Many Nismo versions of the Z have small additional horizontal dampers in the front and back, but I could never tell a difference in what they do compared to a normal Z.

My Z1 poly transmission mount made a huge first impression on me. I loved it. Years later, the NVH is just barely tolerable. I often consider going back to OEM.

Can't imagine how it would be to have a solid aluminum mount in a daily driver, but I suspect it would be absolutely horrible.

corrrrect. “Had the GK tech solid trans mount installed” as in past tense.

this guy:

GK Tech Trans Mount

No ideas here either. I know there was a graphic with a tuning fork but what that has to do with car performance I couldn’t tell you lol

I was seeing if someone else had installed it and if it caused something to break in their car due to more torque on the transmission. If someone commented with such knowledge, I would switch it immediately.

(I’ve also only have had it installed for a month)

A lot of members seem to have gone with the the poly trans mount so I’ll just run it and see.
