Windshield mount for camera??

Anyone know where I can find a camera mount that suctions to the windshield? I saw one on a 350z at the last Motorsport Ranch track day but I didn't ask where she (Renee) bought it from.

I would like to pick up one of these so I can video my track day tomorrow!!

I haven't seen one of those but I have seen the one that mounts between the headrests. It gives a good view of the cockpit and out the window. You can buy them at wolf camera.

I found the one that mounts to the windshield but unfortunately the company is out of San Diego and they don't have any dealers in DFW. It's only $40 for the SM-30 window mount ... http://www.chasecam.com/mounts-suction.htm

I will check out the headrest mount at Wolf Camera though, thanks!

WOW! That mount would take some wicked shots if mounted on the side of the car. I would like to get a picture of the front wheel plus the front quarter panel with the car in motion. Nice find...

Couple of our media guys in the car crew have these mounts. Got em off ebay. You can stick em anywhere...door, hood, window...anywhere the suction cups can go. Makes for some really cool shots.

Just got back from the Wolf camera by my work ... when I asked them for a car mount for a camera all 3 employees looked at me like I was on crack

I can't find anything on their website either ... guess I'll just order one from ChaseCam for the next track day!

Yes this may be true but we all know that the average Wolf Camera employee is not smart enough to detect this!

When I had my car out on the track at TMS I meet a guy who just bought one of the mounts for his G. He said he got it at Wolf Carmera. It was a year ago so they may not stock them any longer.

If you want to get mounts for just about anything, check out www.ram-mount.com. I've got their mounts for a laptop, gps, moto handlebar mounts for cameras, etc. You can put together a nice suction cup system for the windshield easily.

Yeah, when I was looking for a camera mount I didn't get much help at Wolf either, so I hacked together a headrest mount from a spare tripod, some angle iron and u-bolts. Here are some pics:
