3% tint will have to be removed

Sorry guys, but this is mainly a post to vent.

DAMN COPS WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO!!!!!!!!!!! CURSE 'EM!!!

Yeah, "back the blue". pffft.

So my wife was taking the kids to daycare yesterday morning and a trooper passing her on the fast lane noticed that, hell!!, he couldn't see who was driving the car! So he slams his brakes and gets behind her. Once she pulls over he sites her for 3% tint all around and proceeds to write her up as well for no front tags. Pecker! Damn, that sucks...the black G looked SO slick with that tint. Just when I was beginning to believe that "hell, cops won't jack with the infiniti as much as a Honda or something". HA!! Damn it I'm pissed.

Question: Do I have to retint the small windows or just the door windows?

Are you Melissa's husband?

As for the tint limit, it's usually only for the front door windows. Anything rear of that can be limo tint. I could be mistaken however since things are different here from Chicago...

You don't have to do nothing just pay the ticket and keep the tint on
Why pay to have it taken off and retinted...Also get pre payed legal so you can beat it every time....Just my 2 cents.

Nope, not Melissa's husband.

I figured, with my luck, keeping the tint may get pretty damned pricey at $150 bucks per fine. :/ Pre-paid legal can fight that???

It should be a citation and if you show proof that the violation has been corrected you should be good to go. I did that when I got busted for underbody lights on my prelude (not in the G yet). I took a pic of the under carriage before the lights went on and kept the negative. Whenever I got a ticket I would print the negative, send it in and the ticket would go away. Not sure how tint works r if it is considered a moving violation or not. I know the front license plate is only a citation and you can do the proof of correction thing. If you don't want to install the license plate just grab a pick of it taped on or something. For the tint you may be able to grab a pick of a stock black G and then another of your VIN and say it's the same one.....No honest but it will save you time and money.

hehe, nice one hyper!

Eh..my wife just went down to the court (in Alvarado, TX for those who know the ghost town) and they said there was no way they'll dismiss the ticket. What BS. I'm going to do some quick research to see if there's attorney's that can get you off the ticket like the one's that do moving citations. Worth a try I suppose.
