Test Pipes

If one were to have test pipes with O2 bung spacers installed that are fooling the CEL (actually SES) light and computer, will the car pass inspection since they now just hook into your computer and no longer perform the sniffer test? If not, does anyone know of a mod friendly DFW area inspection station that they could PM me the location of? Thanks!

As long as the SES light is not being triggered, you will pass emissions through ODB2. Some inspection places will do visually check for cats and others won't. I would just go ahead and try to get it done, they aren't going to report you or anything but they won't pass you. At that point, just try the next place...

Yea, most places don't look. Gotta think of the type of people doing these tests. Usually just some punk who really doesn't care.

I have mine done at Grubbs. They seem to have selective criteria when it comes to inspections.

Although I do have the CATs installed, they haven't noted the "for off road use only" tag on my headers for the last two inspections.

Of course I am sure there are many others. Just sharing what has worked for me.
