AHHHH Help, my suspension is screwed??!?!?!?
AHHHH Help, my suspension is screwed??!?!?!?
UPDATE: So I was driving down that same stretch of 635 heading west from Garland to Dallas. It is about a 4 mile stretch of smooth road between the South Garland Road exit and Skillman exit. If someone happens to drive that way soon, drive in the 2nd farthest left lane (lane next to the fast lane). This time drove the whole way through and I could really feel where it was coming from. It felt as if the rear suspension was "rolling" or "swaying" left and right. Strange but thats whats happening when i hit smooth pavement like that. For some reason it does it extremely on that stretch of road. I was watching the cars in front of me and they seem to be driving evenly and straight while my front and rear end were swaying left and right (people probably thought I was crazy). There's something definitely strange going on. And this was only going around 65mph and not around 80mph like the last time. Does anyone else experience this with their coupe?
I was driving back home going west on 635 on that stretch of road between La Prada exit and Ferguson Road exit. There is a flat road surface for that stretch of road. Anyway, The road was so smooth little did I know i was speeding up. When my car hit about 75-80mph it started to weave left and right. I thought it was the road/wind combination so I drove another 1/2 mile and the weaving didnt stop. So I slowed down and took the nearest exit (NW Highway) pulled into a gas station and looked at my front wheels. No damage, no flat tires, nothing "looked" out of the ordinary.
Well, today it did it again once i reach about 80mph on 635 passing Luna Road.
I can't really explain the weaving motion, its like when you turn the steering wheel to the left to correct it from going right, you have to turn it more than usual in order for the wheels to "respond". I'm thinking its a tire compression rod like in this bulletin http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../ITB03-028.htm.
It doesn't just steer to the right, the left steering is affected as well. Any thoughts or experiences? Car is still under warranty so I think I'll schedule a service date at Grubbs. I'll poke my head under the car tomorrow when there's light and check the rod ends. (So glad I didn't install the springs yet...whew!)

I took the car out all day today, it seems that the car is drifting left. When you straighten the wheel out to correct it, the wheels feels loose, very loose steering. I have broken tire rods before and it feels the exact same way. I know definitely its not the tires or alignment. Tire pressure is good on both sides and does not get "bumpy" or vibrate at higher speeds. It definitely feels like the compression rod.

I scheduled some service with Grubbs to have them check it out on Tuesday morning, I'll let you know what it turns out to be, if anything!?!?
Ok so Grubbs kept it for 2 days and could find nothing wrong. I swear guys my car never felt this "wobbly" on smooth surfaces. Tell me its just me.
HAve you guys driven your (stock suspension) car on a smooth road surface at high speeds, only to have your car wobble or jerk left-right when you drive over the crown in the roads or any smooth "humps" on the road. It just feels lik ethe suspension is floating and not "stiff" like it used to be. I'll see is it goes away when I install my 350z springs but i swear that my suspension has never felt this way in the year that I have owned my car. Damn it!!!@#!@$!@!$
