What do you cover up before painting them?

Wouldn't Plasti dip start melting at one point cause of the temperature?

Just get them powdercoated and it will probably last longer than just paint

paint lasts long if it is done right. I've had no issues what so ever

make sure you use brake cleaner and get all the grease off, sand lightly, 3 light coats evenly of paint and 3 coats of clear

Use the brake cleaner and light sanding. By light sanding i mean that you do not see any glossy section of gray paint. When its all matte you remove all dust with clean cloth then you apply the caliper (extreme temp.) paint. I did mine with the VHT which turns out very nice. I applied 3 coats of paint. After that i went to a sticker shop near my house and ordered a set of AKEBONO decals (as you can see the center part is the color of my car... silver..and the border is black). I applied those vinyls and spray painted 3 coats of clear coat.

By the way sorry guys, my english is not very good sometimes...
