Removing the hood?

I plan on changing out my hood to a CF hood later on today, is there anything in particular I need to know? To me it seems pretty straight-forward,

1) Remove hood latch and two metal hooks in the front of the hood

2) remove the bolts in the back corners (closer to the windshield)

3 Remove the windshield washer tubing

Is that all?

I saw a previous thread on this, but the link doesn't seem to work that's within the thread...

The few things you may need to know are patience, patience and patience. It takes a little work to get it to line up perfectly. I believe you will also want to mod the hood spring to make it sit flush.

**** man, u were NOT kidding....def. takes a lotttt of patience. ALMOST got it lined up perfectly, tiny 2-3mm gap on the drivers side i gotta re-adjust it tomorrow.

Also I NOW know what you were talking about regarding that spring business....any insight at all on how to do it? Do I just straight up take an angle grinder to the spring and take out one of the coils or what? Any help would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks bro
