Just did it on my car last night, wonderful improvement with the transmission(7AT), but the only problem is no automatic up windows! How can I fix this?

1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Close the door.
3. Open the window more than halfway by operating the power window switch.
4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close the window, and then hold the switch more than 3 seconds after the window is
closed completely.
5. Release the power window switch. Operate the window by the automatic function to confirm the initialization is complete.
6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other windows.

That was taken from Black Betty's grounding wire DIY.

Just to add to this, you lose the auto-up on the windows any time you disconnect the battery. The calibration in your window gets erased and this process resets it.

He's got a history of doing this. 90% of his posts are questions about things people have answered hundreds of times, or they're insistence that Injen is the absolute best manufacturer for cold air intakes.

What and why needs to be oxygenfree? Terminals or wire?

FYI, I no longer have any of the supplies left. Also I am no longer making or selling grounding wires for quite some time now.

Those that have had this done awhile ago, has any of the wires start to melt?
Looks like the wires might be a little close to the engine block.
BTW, great write-up

No, it doesn't even get close to being hot enough to melt the wires. I've had them for several months and they're in perfect condition.

I'm a little sceptical, but I'll bite. I'll be doing this tomorrow sometime. I am an audiophile so if this can get the tunes louder I'll try it. It is a little funny now that I'm literally looking at the ground on the battery as I type that the ground only has one smallish wire. My trucks THREE ground wires are ALL twice this size....? It's worth a try for $30-$40.

It's a pretty easy DIY, there's instructions on the forum for the lengths you need. I recommend adding some PVC sheathing to protect your hard work.
