Does anyone know how to remove and replace the plastic trim pieces that go over the rear view mirror wires? I'm trying to install some stealth wiring and would like to feed some wire under this trim and into the headliner.

The trim is in 2 pieces with the upper piece having tabs the slide under the roof liner. It also slides over the lower piece. If you look at the lower piece there should be a tab you slightly push down on to unhook the upper piece, then slide the upper piece down a bit so it will pop out. It's not that delicate so you should be able to get it out without damaging. I did the same to run my radar power cable.
