Help installing amp on g37 sedan with bose.

i just need someone to tell me which wires i need to spice before the bose amp. i already ran the 4 gauge cable from the battery, so pretty much all thats left is knowing which wires i need to splice for the remote, as well as the wires that i need to hook into the the jl amp.. i have searched all over but all i find are coupe instructions..

thanks.

I can't tell you exactly which wire it is but I can help you find it. It's pretty simple. Grab a test light or DMM (DMM preferred). Ground the black lead and with the red lead, find the wire on the Bose amp's harness that has 12V with the accessory power on and 0V with the car completely off. Connect your remote wire to that. It's best to use a relay though to power your aftermarket amp's remote off the stock amps remote. Wire the relay according to this diagram:

Pin 87 - Fused 12V constant/battery
Pin 85 - Constant ground/chasis
Pin 86 - Bose amp remote wire
Pin 30 - Aftermarket amp remote wire

*I know this thread is old as hell. But maybe it will help someone!

I also have the sedan and run into issues installing an amp. First of all, it appears the amp location is different than the coupes (mounted directly under the rear deck). The two wiring harnesses look slightly different than the coupes, but I noticed that there is still a sky blue and purple wire that should contain the sub sound signal.

I will use the DMM method to test for the remote wire, because that wire is certainly a different color on the sedan connectors.
