Glad I found this thread before having a go at it myself, would've taken me aaaages to figure out how to pry out that damn radiator shroud myself thanks!
Very subtle change but a good one, never really liked the chrome 'samurai swords'

I went to an Infinity dealer the other day and looked at an Moonlight White 2009 G37 that had a black crome grill. I asked if it would fit my 2008 IP and was told yes. Anyone seen this grill before, I am thinking of having one installed on my car.

Could this be an easy way to install a CAI? or do you HAVE TO take off the bumper to install a CAI your self?

you can just take off the top part and kind of let it hang down, I guess you could do a CAI without touching the bumper at all but that seems like it would be way too much work

You can install the Injen CAI through the wheelwell and the Stillen 3G CAI without removing bumper.

Posting A) To Subscribe, as I've got a new grille coming

and B) To say thanks for what will be a helpfull DIY.

As for the Midnight Black OEM grille...I lust after that thing. But I bought EZDOzzits's billet grille with lower section for $99 shipped...hard to spend $280 from sewell when you get a deal like that..
