When I removed the glove box to change the in cabin filter today,I noticed that one of the plastic extrusions that fits in one of two slots was previously broken off from the dealer that serviced the car for the last owner.is it a necessity or just a guide part?

I just epoxied them back on with loctite plastic epoxy.seems good now.

Does anyone know how to remove the piece on the interior door that has the memory seats?
