I'll be trying mine without taking off the wheel... I really don't want to remove it.

Good luck. I've done this process twice now and it's frustrating and time consuming enough with the wheel off.

Another picture of my result. ~6-8 hours labor, wheel taken off for a weekend and worked on over the course of the weekend. Not the stitching color they provided, changed to match sport thread.

So it wasn't that bad and actually enjoyable.. I did take my wheel off to do it.
@iCrap I did order the in from prime
@ryne... I couldn't get mine tucked as well as yours.. Did you take the trim and bezel off to tuck it? I think I'm gonna try that.. Also I didn't bother using the sticky tape because I wanted it to be able to move just a little bit in case I had to make some last minute adjustments.

Fitting went well

Of course I had to miss one dang loop 😡

Yes, I completely took the steering wheel apart. From my experience the tape is pretty important in order to keep the cover from sliding, such as when you are gripping the steering wheel. Were you able to completely and tightly pull together the leather at all sections? It seems like with your stitching pattern this would not be possible, especially around the edges. Are any parts of your wheel saggy or not fitting well? Wrinkles?

No actually.. My stitching pattern worked well. It is pulled tight and all corners are tight. I used a hair dryer to heat the leather so it would stretch and I pulled it tight before placing the stitch. I'm going to remove the trim to get it to tuck.
I wasn't a fan of the every single stitch so I went with every other.. Defiantly requires more concentration
Now the tape.. I went back and forth on using it. For me I wanted the ability to make the last minute adjustments in case it wasn't fitting properly when I was stitching. I really think that if I hadn't used the hair dryer to heat and stretch the leather it would be a different story. I'm pretty OCD about neatness and fit. I'll get some pics up later today when I get it all tucked

I like what you did with the corners, stitching it from back to front it looks like and You could hide it with the bezel... That's a great idea! Mind sharing how exactly you did that?

Glad to hear it worked out well for you, there is definitely a fair amount of concentration required to make it work. Heat is your friend, similar to the method of installing vinyl. I really don't know how to describe what I did, it was trial and error to get everything tight and looking proper.

Excuse the blown airbag, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.. I did however use different thread than provided and I noticed some fraying of the red. Time will tell if it will hold up. I probably grabbed the wrong type of thread I guess, I dunno.
But anyways here are some pics after its all tucked in nice and pretty like
