Different processes for fixing curb rash

Hey guys,

So i unfortunately hit the side of the pavement while trying to find parking and i want to get it fixed by the summer. I've been looking at places and so far i found a place for 90$/wheel and some are 150-200$/wheel. My friend told me there are cheap processes which just respray your rims and will decrease the value because of the OEM paint. Does anyone know what the proper/safe process of fixing curb rash is or is it all the same?

Thanks!

A good wheel repair place should use the proper materials to fill in the curb rash before using quality paint when re-painting the wheel. On the other hand, some may just quickly sand it down and do a quick repaint, without properly curing it, etc. Your best bet is always to find a reputable wheel place and have them do it.
