Weather Tech vs. OEM All Weather Mats

I was thinking of picking up one or the other. Leaning more towards the weather tech's as one of the supporting dealers on the forums is not responding to the OEM All Weather Mat posting. Any experiences or your 2 cents?
Thanks!

I have the weather tech and with all the snow and rain in north east I am glad I have them... I can imagine the OEM all weather floor mat performing as good. Plus they are much easy to clean. worth the $$ for me. I have the front/rear mats as well as the trunk mat.

I've got Weathertechs in both my QX56 and my Q7. They're great! They offer full coverage and are well constructed and durable. I've had both sets since new so they've gotten some use. They're not cheap, but they are most definitely a premium mat.

I got the OEM factory mats in the G and like them. Not quite as full of coverage as the weathertechs, but I didn't want that "industrial" look in the G. They work well and do the job. I paid much less for them as well.

I have weather tech in the wife's Mazda CX-7 and OEM all weather mats in my G. In my opinion, the weather techs are better for trucks & suv's. For the G.. go with the OEM all weather mats... they look good, cheap, and last long.

Got to agree with the OEM Mats. Look better and are more cost effective for the same protection. +1 on the infiniti logo and letters. Got mine for $40 for the front and rear

Pulled the trigger on the OEM all weathers. Got them at orderinfinitiparts.com $82 shipped to Hawaii!!! Thanks guys. I'm assuming Weathertech are the only ones that make the trunk mats??? Wanted those since I use the trunk quite often. Thanks again for all your input!

nice pick up, OP. orderinfinitiparts.com is my first stop when looking for parts and accessories. almost always have the best pricing.

i prefer the OEM mats like you went for. i'm sure weathertechs are great, but i like the factory look and logos of the OEM stuff. plus, i've found they last a long time, at least how i use them.

The Maxpider mats look interesting for less money and there are lots of reviews on them vs. Weathertech if you google. For the trunk, I'm going to pick up this one at less than half the price of either Maxpider or Weathertech:
Infiniti G35 G37 Easy Clean All Weather 3D Cargo Liner Trunk Luggage Floor Mat | eBay
Doesn't have to be pretty as long as it fits properly.

I like the look of the Maxspider/3D mats but I've read about some issues with proper grommets and fitting for some cars. I want them to fit exactly, without modification.

The Infiniti OEM all-weather mats are of great quality and design. I bought a set (Front & Rear) back in 2010 for my 2010 g37 and now transferred them to my new 2013 G37 and never looked back. They have held up great through the snow/salt/rain and with a quick hose down they still look new.

If there's snow and salt around, then get the weather techs. The OEMs matts do not really protect the carpet from the sides. I'll try to take a picture.
