Over Spray on new G37

Just picked up my new G37 yesterday (8-31-2013)

Waxed it with Pinnacle Sovereign Wax (expensive stuff!!)

Noticed small particles - not sure if its paint, rail dust, industrial fallout??

anyone experience this? Let me know your course of actions.

thanks

I'm not sure if you should clay bar a new car but that usually removes small particles.

Use clay bar to remove those particles. Work gently and carefully with plenty of lube and not too much force to avoid marring the surface.

Of course you'll have to wax again afterward.

Clay is fine, doesn't matter if it's new. Very first thing you should do with a new car is clay and wax it right away. The sooner you lock in and protect that original finish, the better.

OP, find yourself some how-to videos for claybar on YouTube. Easiest thing in the world.

And when you get the clay cut the bar into 2 or 3 equal pieces, goes a lot farther that way And if you have clay left over put it in a zip lock bag w/ a splash of detailing spray to keep it pliable.
