As for clay bar and a new car- you'd be surprised all of the "stuff" you pull off a "new" car!
If you are going to clay bar why bother using the harsh detergents in Dawn? Not on my car.

I guess Sal Zaino doesn't know what he's talking about since he recommends using Dawn and then using a clay bar.

don't mislead the new guys. Yes it's safe to use Dawn prior to a full detail. It's actually recommend by many companies. It's not recommend for regular or future washing. Second... Don't pick any brand you like. Research and make an educated decision. All Zaino products are great BTW.

I don't dispute that Zaino makes good products. After all, after using Dawn you'll need good products to get your shine back.

Not trying to mislead anyone. If everyone is doing it then it must be good.

Long live Dawn.

I was a firm believer of Zaino products until I was introduced to Chemical Guys along with detailedimage. Never looked back.
