My first attempt with machine buffer

So I bought a CPO '12 Black Obsidian G37S last April and the only thing that I was not happy about were all the fine swirls and scratches left behind from the previous owner.

I was getting ready to find a local detailer until I ran across a few threads of BO paint correction (Black Betty's, G37sEugene's). The results they achieved inspired me to try and do it myself!

I used the following:

PC7424XP
Mother's California Gold Clay Bar
Meguiar's M105 w/ LC Orange Pad
Meguiar's M205 w/ LC White Pad
Poorboy's World Black Hole w/ LC Black Finishing Pad
Meguiar's Ultimate Wax w/ LC Black Finishing Pad

Needless to say, I was very happy with my results! This is my first black car and how easily dust and light swirls show up does annoy me. However, when it is clean, nothing beats it!

Maintaining a black vehicle is a full time job but you're right nothing beats them 'just polished and waxed'

I spent $300 @ detailed image for the PC starter kit, M105/205 polishes, extra finishing pad, 6xMF towels, and glaze.

I think I'm about to spend another $200 on interior and wash products in the near future. I also think next time I'll try 5.5" pads, as it seems to be the more popular way to go.

..it is addicting like everybody said

Looks amazing! I also used M105 and M205 recently on my wife's black JX, these work pretty good.

And you are right, this is very addicting.
