Optiseal sealant on glass?

Do you use a sealant on your glass and if so, which one? I use optiseal on my paint but I never used it on glass. Are there any things to watch out for when applying it on glass, like do you have to buff it out with MF after application?

In general, are normal seal paints ok on glass or should I get something like RainX?

thanks

Most polymer sealant's will not bond to glass (even Opt-Coat™)

Optimum Opti-Glass™ Coating is an advanced resin coating that forms a semi-permanent film over your windshield and exterior glass.

Thanks. Opti-Glass is expensive, but looks like it lasts for a long time. How does it compare to RainX in terms of durability?

i personally use car wax on my windshield and windows. i like it more than rain-x. give it a try and see if you like it. i usually claybar it first if its my first time applying wax to my windshield/windows. all rain/water starts sliding vertically ~25mph

I tried Opti seal on glass (since that was all I had at the time) and it seems to last about a week. Maybe more, I did not drive in the rain for last few days.

Looks like TOGWT is right, Opti seal it will not bond to glass.

I have this stuff on order, I will give it a try: Glass Science Rain Clear - 5 oz | Free Shipping Available - Detailed Image Looks like RainX.
