Paintless Dent Removal

Greetings...

Just inherited my very first door ding on the weekend despite my best efforts at parking as freaking far away from the rest of the known universe as possible.

Anyway, the ding is very small and no paint damage and maybe most people would just ignore it- but I can't. My eyes are drawn to it every time
I look at the car now.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with any of the paintless dent removal guys?

I've scoured the search engines and found a local company which seems reputable (been in business for over 10 years, no BBB complaints, good customer reviews for what that is worth and they mostly deal with dealerships).

Thanks.

Pdr guys do magic. Make sure you find a guy that doesn't like to drill holes. Some will do their best not to drill acces holes and some try to get at the dent easiest way possible.

Have any of your coupe owners had it done in the rear quarter panel? Could they get to it without drilling?

Pdr is like painting a car, it's black magic. Either the guy is good and is an artist, or he's not.

The guy who did mind was excellent, and I can't even see where my dent was. If you can take off any interior panels prior to the person doing the work, it should cut down on the price

I have a dent about 1.5 inches away from the drivers door on my rear quarter. It's not terrible but it's there.

Just curious if others have been in a similar situation.

150/dent sounds ridiculous if you have a few on the same panel.

Thanks for all the information. I found a PRD company that looked good (based solely on a couple of on-line reviews and maybe just a hunch...).
Anyway, he came over to give me a quote ($95 for the 1st dent and $25 for each after per vehicle). I had him quote 2 vehicles and the price seemed reasonable so I went for it.
He said he could start right then and there which was a (pleasant) surprise because I thought I was only getting a quote and then would have to make other arrangements for him or one of his techs to come back.
I actually had him start on my '99 Suburban as a Guinea pig and was very happy- frankly AMAZED- at the job.
He then did my G37 couple (aside from the original ding I talked about at the start of this thread he said he could do one I thought was not repairable because of location as well).
And I even had him do my older Acrua- which he threw in for free because his original quote on my G was for a glue pull but he found a way to get it using traditional means which was less effort for him.
Needless to say I was very impressed and would bring him back as well as refer friends to him in a heartbeat.
I will still do my best to avoid door dings but at least now I know they are not fatal!
I'm in Vancouver so if anyone local is looking for this service- please give Josef at Home | Dent Craft Canada Ltd. | Paintless Dent Repair Vancouver a call- you will NOT be sorry.
