Blue-Job Chrome and Metal Polish has a unique non abrasive, highly concentrated, powder formula, guaranteed to remove bluing and add a long lasting shine, without scratching or dulling the finish surface. Will leave exhaust tips more resistant to future bluing or tarnishing.
What if I want to polish out the blue burnt look on my tips? What do you recommend for that?
If you just want to clean them use a wheel cleaner like the SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect on the surface. It's gentle and won't harm the finish. If you actually want to remove a blue burnt look that is on there by design that may be more challenging. It also may not be possible with conventional methods. You can start off with a metal polish and see how it goes, most likely it will not be enough. You'll need something more aggressive like a fine grade steel wool. However be careful taking on this type of project and test everything out on a small non-visible area first. If this doesn't work I'm honestly not sure what the next safest step would be.
