2004 Crossfire & HD Uno Testing

This detail spanned 2 days and about 9 hours.

Wash
Poorboys Slick and Suds - Foamed
Sheep Skin Wash Mitts (Paint)
Microfiber Wash Mitt (Wheels/Tires)
EZ Wheel Brush
Poorboys Spray and Rinse (wheels)

Clay

ONR

Paint Correction
1. HD Uno via PC, HD 5.5" orange pad.
2. Optimum Polish via Makita Rotary, LC 6.5" CCS black pad

Some micromarring left over, needed a finishing polish.






Rotary:

I broke out the Rotary, OP, and a black 6.5 LC pad from this point on.

Ahh, perfection.

Day 2.

I work up at the crack of dawn to get the detail done before the football games started. I knew I had a long day ahead of me.

It's always important to brush your pad with a stiff brush in between panels to avoid dusting and the pad gumming up.

I had more, but I'm not sure what happened to them. The bike isn't mine, I believe it's a sportster with the biggest engine available. The paint is pretty nice, purple with a gold flake.
