What cloth to use on guage plastic?

I noticed some dried leather cleaner overspray on my guages so I took my microfiber cloth and tried to wipe it. Since it was already dried, I put a little more pressure on it. When the spots came off, I noticed lots of fine line scratches. Even the parts where I didn't put much pressure has fine scratches.

So question is what type of cloth can I use to wipe this with without scratching it?

Thanks,
John

John,

You want to use as plush of a towel as you have and you shouldn't ever wipe it completely dry. I usually turn to our ultra plush towels for delicate interior surfaces like gauges, nav screens, etc.

Mist a little quick detailer or cleaner specific for the area you are cleaning and gently wipe it away. With some product on the towel, the dried leather cleaner should have wiped off pretty effortlessly.

Hope this helps,

George
