Micro marring is micro scratches such as swirling. A medium grade clay bar will cause some marring but it gets the job done when it comes to removing any paint or overspaying from the clearcoat. A fine grade clay bar just won't get the job done fully. Usually after using a medium grade clay bar you'd want to follow up with a finishing polish just incase.

Been there done that. Its a bithc to get off too. I took a metal blade from a putty knife and barely angled it to shear most of it off. That **** is a **** man. Took me seeeveral hours. Good luck and let us know if you find a better way.

its a very narrow road plus with dirt/sand on the side i was trying to avoid..

I just washed the car and luckily some of the paint that got smeared came off with CG bug tar remover. I would say the car is 90% back to its original form with exception to the mud-guards (will get them next week). Also judging by how easy it is to take off any other remaining paint stones, I will use a fine grade clay instead. I guess i caught a break this time but dammn im gonna keep an eye out

they said it was my fault for not noticing wet paint on the road..are you kidding me? my fault?! NO freaking signs to tell me so?! Then the guys said oh, thats why Massachusetts has mandatory auto insurance law, he suggested i contact my insurance company..I was like standing there awe struck like wow this dude really is saying this?! I said the hell with it, id rather be down $200 mud guards then a whole rocker panel that would need paint, and perhaps paint that probably wouldnt match and all that hell...ill take this..
