Processes with Self Healing Clearcoat

Hi everyone, I have some questions regarding the Self Healing Clearcoat. Are there certain things you can or cannot do with this type of clearcoat?

For example, when doing a more thorough detail.

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Polish/Compound
4. Seal/Wax
5. Maybe more layers or wax or sealant.

Can you clay the Self Healing Clearcoat? What about polish? With something like the PC or G110? What about with a rotary? Anything or concerns with certain pads? (eg foamed wool?).

Thanks!

Clay bar is ok. It is recomended not to used compounds or a power buffer of any type.

It's kinda pointless to polish a coat that can self-heal, isn't it?

I like polishing my cars lol. Also, the clear coat doesn't heal overnight, it can take a while I'm guessing.

Shumby is correct. Clay bar is fine, but polishes or compounds are not recommended as they can deteriorate the self healing properties of the paint.

As little as a several hours and as much as a week (I think). Depends on how much heat exposure your car is getting.
