Be like comparing apples to oranges. Most pre-cut buy-off-the-shelfs that I have seen vary a lot and can be substantially different in coverage. If you did a full front end, wrapped edges, etc. in 3 hours and it is a clean stretch-free install with no fingerprints then you might have found your calling.

Quality installs seems to run anywhere from $400-$900 depending on film, installer, economy, coverage, etc. from what I was able to find out in doing my research.

My standard rate in Southern California is $750 for the full front end... bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, lights. I have found that my rate falls into the middle range. I have heard of installs going from any where in the 500-1200 range. I even heard of a guy in Vegas charginf $1900 for the same coverage I do for 750(maybe I need to move). Coverage, type of film, and location are probably the three biggest factors. Yet I have seen a really bad install that the customer paid $1200 in Texas. So the price can really vary... and for no particular reason.

..for full hood and lights included..sounds like a fair price for a quality job.

My dealer arranged for an installer from a local custom shop to install my VentureShield film. I paid $695 + tax. Worth every penny.

price MAINLY depends on experience

novice installers would naturally charge less than those with years of experience. With price of 3M ppf and Venture with clear coat comparable, other variation in price will due to the amount of coverage. A full hood would require a 58" width roll which cost more per sq ft than a 24" roll. But as most have mentioned, checking the reputation of the installer is KEY.
