clean head liner

i sat in my backseat for the first time this morning while fiddling around with my kids car-seat. I noticed some black stains on the light-colored roof liner.. looks like someone (maybe me) had dirt on their hands while getting in/out of the car. My g37 is OB with graphite interior.. but the headliner is a light tan colored cloth. Anyone know how to clean this? i assume a fine bristled brush with soap/water but want to hear from the experts here!

tks

This is for a G35, not sure if it's same material:

Here's a link to some general cleaning tips:

If the headliner is fabric, see section Cleaning Automotive Fabric Upholstery
If it's a bad stain see section Stain Removal Basics

Let us know what you end up doing ... I have a couple of spots I need to take care of as well.
