Dealership service is madd false. BEWARE!!!!

Hi everyone,
i'm new to the forum and to the G family. I recently purchased a white G37s 2008 about 3 months ago (tell me how my sales rep had to drive my BRAND NEW car on the highway from London, ontario back to Thornhill, Toronto (with almost 200KM on it) where they couldn't ship it on a truck and the manager tells me that the deal your getting is amazing and we don't have the budget to ship yoru car back; wtf!!!)
Anyways, so yesterday I went in for my first oil change service at supposedly my private home dealership (willowdale infiniti).
Talk about horrible customer service i recieved from their so called Service consultant. I asked them if they could help me do something reallie minor i assumed it was going to be no charge because it would probably take them less than 2 mins of their f**kn time (simply help me pull out the right fog light cap cause it was slightly pushed in abit from all the brutal snow storms we had in T.O, last week) . And before that, i already asked them if there were going to be any other charges besides the oil change service, which the service consultant already told me "NO"
When i received the final invoice, they charged me $40 extra for 2 minute labour service (supposedly it took them half an hour, which is BS). Obviously you would be like wtf. When i disputed with that a**hol* consultant, he goes on telling me that i didn't ask him about that "specific charge", but as i mention before, didn't i already asked them if there were any other furthers charge?!?! which he already said NO.
I'm fine if u tell me at first that you would charge me, but isn't it reallie unfair/bad customer relation for them to charge u after the service is done?! Also, this a**hole goes on telling me how he doesn't have to tell u or explain to u what services are going to be done to your car once it inside the garage and they can charge you whatever they like too before consulting u (what happens if I only had enuff money to pay for the oil change?! Lol...). is that true anyone? cause when i use to deal with Acura for my RSX and TSX, they would tell u exactly what is going to be done or charged to u before they even start the service, and even if there were to be additional servicing required for the car.
On top of that, this guy goes on saying that if u don't like my service u can come back on monday and complain to my manager. And than I was like, so your telling me that u don’t ever want me to do my servicing at your dealership and that what I'm telling you is all bs. And he pretty much implies, yeah go do your servicing sumwhere else cause I reallie don't give f***. Straight goods I hope karma hit this guy hard. =)
When I got home, I called Infiniti Canada, and they were like there is nothing we can do about this because they are a private dealership and the only thing they can do is too red flag it and give them a bad customer review. Wtf do I care about a redflag. Does anyone know if there any further actions that I can take? Besides going back to that dealership and flipping on his boss.
As a reminder, don't do your services at my dealership, they are all about scams and poor servicing.
Anyways, please let me know if anyone here has experience such horrible services. Cheers! And have a wonderful NEW YEARS!!!

That is kinda shady. I have never had any issues at my dealer but they are great people and also my club sponsor.

I would go back on Monday or whenever and talk (respectfully and inteligently) to the manager and explain it and tell him you have no problem paying the bill but you wont come back there or they can do the right thing and possibly keep a customer for life.

thnx
too be honest this specific dealership is the only dealership i ever had any issues with. I owned 4 cars before i had the G. and i was really pleased with all my previous dealerships and wanted to try out infiniti for the first time.
When i was explaining my problem to the service consultant i was already very polite and reasonable about the situation. If he had apologize from the begining i would not be this pissed because everyone makes mistakes. And i can accept that, but this guy jsut went on with his bs. Even the person that was taking my transaction was more reasonable and understood where i came from and even she apologized to me.
Truthfully, i will not bother going back to the dealership because it was already a hassle getting my car to begin with. My sales rep told me to go back and give it a second chance even though he doesn't work for that dealership anymore and that is what i did. So i gave it try and this is what happen.
But thnx for your reply.

go talk to the general manager. the fact that the service manager mentioned that he can charge whatever he wants is crazy, take that up with the general manager, then infiniti head office.

I called infiniti head office right when i got home. Pretty useless phone conversation with them because they keep telling me that the dealership i'm at is a private dealership and it is out of their jurisdictions. They can't do anything but give them RED FLAGS! i already gave them a red flag on delivery when i first picked up my new car because they were to cheap to deliver to the dealership. Their GM is not a reasonable guy either, he told me that i wasn't buying the car but leasing it and it is not necessary for them to deliver the car on a truck as they were out of their budget (but in my head i'm thinking, your just telling me not to buy back the car at the end of the lease when i was intending too). My own sales rep had to drive back the car from london. I asked the GM to cancel the order and give me back the the security deposit of 5600$ and they were like NO because i voided the order even though the car was still in London, Ontario. As an attempt, i called infiniti canada and they gave me the same story as it was out for thier jurisdiction. RED FLAG only! wtf
I'm very happy with my car and all but i gottah say that it was reallie stressful in dealing with their dealership. i duno what else i can say or do. but my advice to u is not to buy or get anything from that specific dealership since they are so called PRIVATE DEALERSHIP!

Being the owner of my own business, I would would want to know about
an unhappy customer. Tell the owner of the dealership what happened
and if he won't fix the situation don't service you car there. Nothing
hurts a business like lack of customers. My 2 cents.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I wouldn't blame Infiniti but the dealer. My dealership (O'Regan's in NS) is absolutely amazing for service. They are so good, my wife's next vehicle will be from their Lexus showroom simply for the service level they provide (the O'Regan's own a bunch of dealerships in the province). They go above and beyond.

If I were you, I would find another dealer. You paid a lot of money for a very nice car and should get great service.

Your shady dealership is not alone, you can count my dealership in also. They put scratches on my car, change out my bumpers with scratched up chipped bumpers when I bring it for servicing.. that's why they always wash my car whenever I go there so I don't notice the bumpers they switched and they think I don't know... It's hard to trust dealerships, sales or servicing nowadays. This is why I'm thinking about installing a in-trunk camera recording system to see what they really do to our cars at services. On top of that the service guys mumble to each other and give me a weird look every time, then when they see me coming they act like everything is cool. VERY SHADY. On top of all this.. the general manager is the shadyiest of them all. He tried ripping me off when I bought my car.. When I attempted to drive my car out the dealership I kept stalling because this was my first stick.. so then I went back to talk to the GM what are my options if I trade for an auto because I can't drive this thing home... He then shows me cars he has on the lot and then raised my payments over $150 more and my car had more options and cost more that what he was showing me... He then showed me an exact model of my car in auto and the price was 4k more... BS. So then I decided to just say **** IT and learn stick... best decision I've ever made.. except the fact that I bought it at that dealership.

no regrets every since, however there are days where my manual driving is less that perfect and i hate those days.

It is common for dealers to have to get a car from another dealer (otherwise it'd be another 3 months). The cost of shipping it on a truck eats into already low margins in today's market. The proper thing for them to do is to tell you that we have to get your car from another dealer, so there will be an estimated number of KMs on it. At our dealer, we tell customers & have them sign a form with the estimated KMs that'll be on it, so there are no misunderstandings later.

I get lied to all the time by potential customers. "A dealership which I will refuse to name has given me this impossible price on a 09 which is ridiculously under cost, can you beat it?" When I say I would like their business but simply can't match that impossible price (& I know that no dealer could give them that price), some of them start getting angry.

Auto's do cost significantly more that an comparable stick because you have to pay extra for the sport package. I dont think it is a 4k difference though. More like 1-2k.

this happened in all kinds of dealerships.. I guess this could be a misunderstanding and communication issue.

no big deal.
