2013 G37 from CarMax

Hey all,

I wanted to get your thoughts on this 2013 G37S that I found on CarMax. It's priced at $21.9K with 48K miles on it. I've been looking for a black or white G37S for around the same price but haven't had much luck. However, the grey doesn't seem to be a bad color.

Based on what you can tell from the details and pictures I'd love to hear what ya'll think.

Car can be found here

There's a 6 speed 2013 G37 Sport Sedan in white in Infiniti of Peoria check it out, they probably can ship to the nearest infiniti dealer to you since te car max is in Tucson but I know carmax doesn't charge you for shipping I think

That's awesome - looks like it's in great shape! Unfortunately, I'm looking for an automatic. Thanks for sharing though!

The grey (kad) is a very neutral color. It hides dirt well and still looks good. Being a 2013 there's probably not much of factory bumper-bumper warranty left, but should have at least 2 years/20K of powertrain remaining.

Expect to do a full fluid refresh and brakes. Present tires are all season, if you plan on cornering aggressively, get some pilot super sport or similar installed.

I'm not up on prices, but if it's competitive, I'd jump on it. Around here in the midwest, S models are near impossible to come by.

That's the problem I've run into as well. S models are like unicorns here in the Pacific Northwest. It seems most southern states have them in abundance. So I've resorted to CarMax in hopes I find one like this that is close enough to have it shipped without it being too costly.

I'd probably jump on it. What does carmax charge to transport a car? Are you obligated to buy it if you don't like it? Do they refund the transport fee (or part of it)?

Mine is a '12 which just rolled over 26K. Have no intentions of selling it any time soon but do look at other cars every so often. Test drove a ats-v today. Very nice car, might even consider a used one down the line. Not sure I like the all touch CUE system. I do like mechanical ***** and buttons. Automatic felt a bit heavy off the line but that seems characteristic of these cars ('16 camaro 2ss was similar). Ahhh decisions.........

What 80gran will buy... https://i.imgur.com/wgCsn2r.jpg

From that location to me costs $399 which is unfortunately non-refundable. Which in total would make the car somewhere around $22.4k I believe. But I am not obligated to buy the car.

I test drove a 2013 ATS 3.6 and love the way those cars look and the tech is great, but man CUE is a pain. I'm coming from a 2007 G35S. So I'm definitely partial to Infiniti. I love the ATS-V and the power that things holds. But that's further down the road for me.

It already has the front lip and decklid spoiler, so those are two big pluses. But I think it's a bit overpriced. You can surely get a better deal from a private seller and save on taxes at the same time. With that mileage and package, look to pay around $20k or even a tad lower.

I agree. It does seemed a bit over-priced. And I'm sure I could get it for lower from a private seller, but the issue I'm running into is that the S model (what I'm looking for) is extremely difficult to find where I'm located (Northwest). So unfortunately I'm having to look outside the area.

Agreed... It's a nice G, Lid & spoiler are a nice bonus but I would say the price is a bit on the high end...If the price tag started with a 1 I'd say scoop it up.

Did you pull the trigger on the 2013 G37S from CarMax? Did you look up the KellyBlueBook value? I've found that the CarMax prices have been less than Infiniti Dealership prices when comparing apples to apples.
