Thoughts on this g?

My last g37, bought from a co-worker ended up being a total disaster. From a blown engine to having frame damage to being in 3 accidents. Well I fell in love with the g regardless of all those problems, and am now looking for a reliable g. I'm going to check this one out on Monday and was wondering on what I should look for as far as problems go. Also, is the price right? https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...3816/overview/

if you can afford a 2012+ model that would be the better choice, because of the revised gaskets. Models before 2012 suffer from plastics gaskets that infiniti chose to use and when the oil pressure goes to low thats when you end up having to replace the gaskets. It isnt cheap either out of warranty your looking at 2k plus for labor and parts. Its not a common issue and there is no way of telling when its going to happen, you can install a oil pressure monitor just to keep any eye on things.

Looks good to me. Check car fax AND auto chex for accidents and maint history. Call dealer to see if all tsb were taken care of. Get an independent inspection and test drive the **** out of it. Make sure clutch doesnt slip etc etc. Make them let the car sit overnight so you can check oil before its warm. And also listen to cold start and look at exhaust as it warms up smells etc check all fluids etc etc.

Seems like a good find, there is plenty of maintenance records which is good for the car, I would go consider it, if your okay with tan interior. Try to get them to give you Infiniti elite warranty on the deal if not consider it to be safe

He also has a full IPL aero kit on the exterior. IPL front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper as well which is really nice. Also keep in mind if you're not a genuinly clean guy that interior is going to be tough to maintain.

The car looks really good in my opinion and the price is decent but always try to haggle with them. Best excuse is "this car is already 6 years old!" Gets them every time.

Also looks can be deceiving but let us know how the car feels/shifts after taking her for a test drive. Best of luck with your decision and let us know if you end up pulling the trigger!
