Mileage vs years
I just purchased a 2010 with 93,000 k. Personally, I would rather see a high mileage car in a short time with regular maintenance. Over 30k miles a year suggests a lot of highway travel. I was able to secure dealer records demonstrating all suggested maintenance and oil changes over that time. TBH, I don't really think the difference in miles in your situation is very much other than it is good bet the 2012 was a lot of highway miles. Depending on when and if you sell it, higher mileage can matter.
Oh, and check the air filters to see if they are dirty. 2 snaps and 5 seconds later...
Lots of bugs could also indicate highway miles, just dirt and it means they just weren't changed. Clean and they may just have been replaced indicating recent service.

I picked up a 2008 with 62K miles last January. I had all of the carfax info on the car and was perfectly satisfied that I was getting a good car. I had been wanting a G for several year's and has anticipated on purchasing new, but with the high cost of a coupe around 50K, I took a chance and fortunately I purchased a well maintained car that delivers the same looks, reliabilty and power as a new one at half the cost. NTM the cost of insurance, taxes, and interest.
All things being equal including price I'd take the '12. The typical vehicle depreciates ~$4000 per model year so why pay more for an '11 over 8,000 miles? If it were 8,000 miles difference on a Cobalt that would be one thing, no big deal on an Infiniti.
