2012 G37x Sedan

Well I already bought the car and I feel I got a good deal on it but wanted to throw this out there to see what other people think.

Purchase date: 11/30/2012
(New) 2012 G37x Sedan
Ext: Graphite Shadow
Int: Stone

Options:
Premium Package
Navigation
Performance wheels & tires (18")
Interior accent (wood trim)
Illuminated kicks plates
Trunk mat, net, and first aid kit
All season mats

Sticker: $44,855
Paid: $35,900 + tax/ttl/license

So how did I do?

I had been looking for a long time and narrowed it down to the G and a TL. After driving the G and the TL back-to-back the choice was obvious.

I was orginally looking at going CPO (2010+) but I did some calling around to local dealers and after playing them against each other I felt going new for the $ was a no brainer.

Just curious if this was a steal of a deal or if year end, plus the new model just around the corner they were doing a fire sale to dump inventory and this is a common deal at this point on a 2012. Just haven't seen anyone post anything else for 2012 recently so not much to compare against.

Thanks.

ya thats really good. there are windows in which dealers will sell cars at crazy prices. I got my 2011 g37x sedan at year end, month end, and while infiniti was offering double rebates (one of the dealerships I went to accidentally disclosed that lol. so all in all, I got mine for about 7k under sticker out the door. Just refinanced it this week at Navy Federal Credit Union @ 1.79% for $380 a month

Thank you. You just made me feel that much better about my purchase i was already happy about.

There was apprarently some serious rebates going on or something. I actually picked up the car on the 1st and they mentioned they needed to backdate the sale to take advantage of some previous month (Nov) rebates.

I had another dealer quote me on a 2013 with similar options for about $2500 more at the same time which I used as a negotiation point on getting them down on the 2012. Just felt saving the money on a holdover 2012 made more sense.
