CPO 2008 G37s coupe - good buy?

I've made a thread before about getting a used 08 and didn't fell through since I had some emergencies at the time.

Now I found this, I just want to know how low (reasonable) can I negotiate with the price?

2008 Used Infiniti G37 Coupe 2dr Sport at CAG Austin in Austin Texas, TX | Honda, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, IID 5871160

$30,693 CPO
23K miles
6MT with spoiler, Nav, premium package

Can anybody who had experience with this dealership chime in?

Thanks,
Mike

EDIT: Since its a CPO, if something breaks and its under warranty, will other dealership acknowledge it since its Infiniti CPO? I know its kind of a dumb question

with the miles its still under factory warranty, after you buy it, just take it to the dealership and make up some excuse for them to look at it and make sure everything that can be fixed under warranty is fixed. Tell them umm you hear noises, and your car shakes at high speeds, and makes a rattle noise, just make a bunch of random stuff up so they keep it for a few hours and investigate.

That's a scary suggestion. You probably can get everything for free if you keep doing this...go to eat at a restaurant...complain about the taste, service, stomach ache...and hope that they will give you discount or let you eat for free.

OK so the sales guy called me back and saying that the car was not sold. The buyer had some emergency or whatever.

He said the lowest he can go is $30,299

I was thinking, is 800-1000 too much of a discount?

I got a good deal from the same dealership. Will be picking up tomorrow. CPO 1.9% 60 months. OTD 29K with 3K down.

I purchased an 08 recently and can share some experience. i would bet you can get $2k off atleast, if you still haven't sign those papers yet.
CPO is not recommended with this vehicle and you still got 38k miles left on factory warranty. This car doesn't have major issues like the BMW 335i to go CPO.
If you prefer not to get CPO then you can ask for > $3k off the asking price in this deal.

I'm actually planning to keep the car for a long time so I purchased extendes warranty. Good thing is, they took 1,500 off too. I took it since I know I wont get 1.9% deal anywhere else. I have no car payment history, credit score took a hit last year (long story) and to pass up that low APR is just dumb.
