Muffler system problem, White G sale

I'm about to go look at this next week at a non-Infiniti dealership and I need ya'lls advice on this. According to the sales person, there was a problem with the muffler and had to go back for repairs 3 times. Other than that, it's missing the Infiniti logo and only comes with one key. It's really an awesome deal cause it's only got 15k miles on it and it's only $30,000. Besides that, I'm gonna put a Greddy exhaust on it anyways.

What's your advice?

I think its becuase of the the rattle in the muffler issue. Theres a TSB on it. I had mine changed out once covered under warranty and I believe theres others on here that had their mufflers changed out a couple of times.

I had mine changed twice. But the service writer said they wouldn't do it again. He's blaming my HFC and y-pipe for blowing the chambers out. But I think they gave me the wrong part the first time they replaced it.

Looks like a decent deal, but, since that car has a "manufacturer buyback" title, when you choose to sell it or trade it in, you might have problems getting someone to take it in on trade, or get much lower $$ when selling the car, because it does not have a clear title. Definatley something to think about...

manufacturer buyback indicates a car returned to the manufacturer under lemon law. like he^ said, you're gonna have atough time getting rid of it when you go to sell.
