Offers on the 2008 G37s Coupe

Hey guys,

I've gotten a couple of offers from the dealers for the 2008 Infiniti G37 Sport Coupe 6MT with the following options:
- Premium Package
- Navigation Package
- Illuminated Kickplates
- Spoiler

The offers have been $39,801.00 and $41,710.79 OTD. Is it me or are these offers sky high? I'm located in Raleigh, NC.

I just paid (a week ago) $37,280 at 0.9%. Everything you mentioned. I could have gotten them to go lower, offer 35. They MUST move the 08's.

Retromoe, I think you paid way too much OTD for an used G37s. Or am I just thinking way too low for prices?

jarborn, I do plan on leasing and not finance, would that affect the overall of the price of what dealers can give me? Would the $2000 incentive still come into play?

It would effect what you would pay but if i remember correctly they were having pretty decent lease deals. Like $399 a month for journey/auto. So figure about $100 more a month when you add $4000 to the car for 6MT navi etc..

If your looking to lease the final number on the car doesnt make much difference does it? Aren't you just looking for the lowest possible monthly payment?

Just my take, hope it helps. If you wanted to call the guy i went to in NY i know he could give you an incredible deal.

I've done tons of research on leasing, and the final sale price of the car is one of the most important factors along with residual value and also money factor. You cannot just look at the monthly payment alone when leasing, just like financing, because they can always play around with some numbers and give me a good looking monthly payment but I'm getting screwed over with the price and/or money factor.

I'll have to see what kind of residual value and money factor he can offer me. I'll check with him and post some numbers here.

I paid a hair under $39K for mine before TTL. G37S 6MT w/ Prem, Nav, and Tech packages.

$39,801.00 and $41,710.79 OTD, are those two separate OTD prices you got from the two dealerships? Or you got the same offer from both dealerships?

If it's $39.8K out the door, that's a really good deal. How much is tax in NC?

They are from different dealerships.

Tax is 3% here in NC. Is that really a good deal? I thought that was still a bit high, considering that they got to rid of the 2008s.

The breakdown for the $39,801, he have the price of $38,100 + TTL. But he just told me that's for buying only, not leasing.

If you paid $37,280 before TTL, what's your OTD price?

He gav me $38,100 before TTL, and the OTD price is $39,801. If you paid more than $39,801, I think you might've gotten ripped off...

Taxes in New York are 8.35%.

37,280 was the price for Everything TTL, DMV fee's, destination, yada yada but without taxes. Add 8.35% to 37,280 and you get what i paid in total for the car.

Oh I see...so you really got a good deal on it after all. If I get that deal I'd take it in a heartbeat. He's giving me $38,100 BEFORE all the TTL and taxes...
