Technology Package

Hi everone,
I am looking to buy a new car in the next few months and the '09 G37x sedan is near the top. Wondering what the opinions were about the Technology package. Is it worth it? and is it widely available on the lots. Seems like premium and navigation won't be too hard to find.

Thanks for your advice.

Technology package includes a few things including Intelligent Cruise Control with Preview Braking, Active Front Headlights (they swivel), and Pre-Crash Seatbelts.

Many people will say it's a waste, but I for one am grateful for having the tech package. Considering I walked away from a crash where my G became very intimate with a tree on Friday, I do give some credit to the Pre-Crash Seatbelts. I was very lucky I was not seriously injured.

That's my opinion though.

I have it an like it and find it worthwhile. The Intelligent Cruise alone is more than worth the money for me because I do a lot of long distance highway driving. I think you'll find that most people who have it and have actually experienced the features will find it valuable, and those who don't will say it's a waste of money, or at least that seems to be how the consensus has been.

WTF??? Not to thread jack this thread, but please post a thread about your experience, or if you'd rather not share it all publicly PM me with what happened please. Glad you're OK.

I like it a lot. Out of the four things that comes with it:
Intelligent Cruise Control with Preview Braking, Active Front Headlights (they swivel), and Pre-Crash Seatbelts

My favorite is the preview braking (wait until you have to do a panic stop, hopefully you don't have to )
And Active Front Headlights, it does help a lot during turns
