Can I get some input on this deal?

I am new to leasing....despite reading up it is still ahrd for me to figure out what the dealer has control over and what IFS sets.

g37 Coupe BS with Graphite int
Premium
Sport
Nav
Kick PLates (i think)
Spoiler
Trunk Net
Splash

Selling price is 40,800

Lease would be for 36 months, 1K down, 560/month.

It seems high to me, but with only 1k down what can you expect??

Any input appreciated.....My other option is doing the same sale price but using the .9% financing... basically free money and putting down like 15K and making a monthly in the mid to high 400 range....

I think you can do much better... The 09s are only about a month away at most and you would be buying this one at nearly MSRP.

Can you explain what I have control over and can "do better on"...MSRP is 44,580, so it is about 4K below which is right around invoice. I believe invoice is 40,500??

I am tier 0, and the rest the guy said was based on the infiniti rates like the residual and the MF??

Sorry. If you are at invoice it isn't bad, however, some people have been getting leases for under invoice.

As I've never leased, I'm not sure where you have leverage to bargain.

It is not actually invoice as it is the VPP price, so its like 250 bucks or so above invoice...

I am just confused as to how people are ending up with leases at like 400, 450, 475 and so far I have not even come close to those numbers with any of the dealers I spoke to....very puzzled...

What is the money factor rate?

What is the residual value after three years?

Overall, your quote seems very high for a three year lease. There is a formula used to calculate lease payments, it is not a mystery.

How is tax calculated in Ma? In Illinois you pay 100% of the vehicle's tax on any lease which might add another $100 per month to the lease payment. Getting a sub $500 lease deal on the terms you are laying out ain't gonna happen in this state either. Illinois leases basically blow.

Good luck, and it's sounds like a great deal to me.

You can try to get it at exactly invoice and pay all of your inception fees upfront, 1st month, dmv, doc, bank, and tire tax. That should run you about $1500 or so. Then you should see your payments drop a bit.
